Leaking nipples 39 weeks, should I start to pump? FTM

I’m 39 weeks, and I’ve been having crazy leaking nipples, like my shirts are getting wet and I didn’t realise I can start leaking before the baby is here. A midwife told me the other day I could start to pump milk to induce labor as “nipple stimulation” - what do you think about that? I’ve never done it clearly I’m a FTM. Is it really safe? Has anyone had a lot of leaky nipples before labor?

This is my second and ive been leaking for weeks. But I recently started hand expressing and using a hand pump and I'm saving the colostrum that comes out. It's safe to pump once you're full term especially if your OB is telling you it's safe, go for it! But save what comes out! I bought syringes on Amazon so I can freeze the colostrum and use once baby is born.
