So this is my first pregnancy. Obviously I don't know much yet. My doctor was explaining that they would like me to get the TDAP / DTAP vaccine in the next few weeks. I explained this to my mom and she told me i should wait until my daughter is born since i plan on vaccinating anyways. (My mom has had 6 kids and they never offered it while pregnant to her, but her last pregnancy was 10 years ago) She says its risky while pregnant. So I know you ladies aren't doctors, but I'd like to hear some opinions on getting it while pregnant. I've heard more negative than positive things about it. I'd rather just wait until she's here for it because I feel more comfortable, but I still like hearing opinions from other moms.
