Yeast infection!?!

So I’m 7 weeks today and same with my other pregnancies I’ve gotten a yeast infection..well I bought the Monistat 7 in cream form. Well I just applied the cream about 10 minutes ago and OMG!! The itching has more than tripled! Is this normal?! It’s such a horrible feeling! 😫😫😫
