On May 1st I went to the ER with an extreme migraine that made my body go numb and twitch basically. I couldnt talk properly, I seriously thought i was having a stroke. The hospital I went to couldnt do anything for me since I am 12 weeks pregnant so they sent me to our high risk pregnancy hospital and there I got an MRI and some drug concoction to get rid of the migraine (it also made me unable to see out of my peripherals). Got rid of the headache finally and everything calmed down and then after getting the meds I started spotting. In the meds was Benadryl so I was extremely tired mind you it was already 1 in the morning when I got there but I was so tired I kept falling asleep right before someone would come in to take my BP and all that so I never told anyone I was spotting except my husband. The MRI showed I have Chiari Malformation so now I am considered high risk but when I was at the other hospital, the woman couldnt find baby heart tones, she didnt seem worrier cause she said that doppler sucked and then no one else came in to try and I didnt have an ultrasound. Should I be worried about that? I know I'm worried my Neurologist is going to say I cant continue the pregnancy so any feedback would be helpful. Also what should I expect with a high risk pregnancy? Should I call my OB and ask for an appointment sooner(my next one is may 24th but that was set up before I was high risk) sorry it jumps everywhere, in trying to include everything. My BP was also 80/40 quite a few times through the night and when i was discharged it was 103/51.
