Babys cord fell off but it looks nasty. Is it normal or infected??

It looks pretty normal. Keep it super dry and don’t give her baths until it’s fully healed. Don’t put alcohol or peroxide on it either. That’s an outdated practice and won’t help it dry it out or make it heal faster.

This looks normal. My daughters did this. Just have to keep it dry and avoid baths or putting anything on it. My daughters looked like this and at her next appointment the doctor treated it. Her shirt kept getting stuck on it.
