I am 6 days PP with my first baby. I had him early last Sunday morning via c section after 16 hours laboring on pitocin. I only spent 1.5 days in the hospital and then came home which was fine with me. Unfortunately we have been back to the hospital 4 times since Sunday for his bilirubin levels. I feel like I am spending my days sobbing and anxious sad and happy and every emotion in-between. I'm afraid Im going to feel like this forever and I'm scared for my husband to go back to work on Wednesday. As the nights approach I feel like it's worse.
