So we have been trying for 6 months just had a really weird cycle for myself. So scheduled an appointment dr ran blood work all is good. Ask about help she said insurance wants you to wait a year ok cool but my husband deductible it paid so could we maybe get started sooner? My dr said she didn’t have the answer so I called my insurance. Come to find out we don’t have to wait a year but they do not cover fertility, they will help with diagnosis (have to pay deductibles and%50 co insurance) but will not help with actual treatments to get pregnant. Just wondering if my insurance is the only one like this and if not how are many of you making it affordable to keep at this challenge?
