Hello Bello diapers?

Question

I have seen a few topics about this brand but of course I can't find them now. Does anyone like these diapers? I wanted to use Honest company but they're kind of pricey and I haven't read the best reviews. I came across Hello Bello and I love the designs and that they're plant based and a good price! But read a few negative reviews. Anyone here tried them on a newborn? I have read that they are the closest disposable diapers to cloth diapers.

I haven’t tried Hello Bello yet but I’ve been very happy with Honest co! So far I’ve only ordered them when they offer a good discount online so I haven’t had to pay full price. You might want to sign up for their email list so you’ll know the next time they offer a special deal! I’ve also been looking into Abby and Finn diapers. They are supposed to be similar also, but are cheaper than Honest. I currently have a sample trial pack that I haven’t tried yet because I have plenty of Honest in our current size so I won’t be ordering more diapers until he’s ready to move up.

I honestly hated them as well as honest company. They leaked or didn't absorb well plus fitcweird on my skinny mini of a baby. We had to use huggies for newborn since she was so small they were the only brand that fit. We wanted to go more natural and found Bambo....oh my goodness I love them. They are so soft, fit super well and even in her crazy large poops not a single blowout. Plus they are pretty natural and as a bonus still have the indicator strip. Not necessary but makes life easier haha. They are a bit pricier but for our baby they are worth if. She has very sensitive skin and these have left zero rashes, chaging, redness..anything. Most brands you can request samples if you want to try before you buy a whole box. I did it with Bambo..just email their customer service. They sent me a couple sizes ad a travel size wipe for free. Wipes are ok but water wipes are still the best in my opinion.

Honest company diapers get a lot of press because Jessica Alba and the cute prints and a huge marketing campaign, but they’re not great for the environment as they still contain petroleum products. 
After doing my research on the most eco friendly (as in those that will biodegrade fastest) I have Eco by Naty diapers on my list (the leak barrier ‘plastic’ layer is a corn based plastic alternative). They work out approx 34c per diaper which is mid range. I also have Bamboo Nature which are 75% biodegradable .... 
Eco natural diapers are 100% biodegradable but are more pricey at around 56c per diaper which is a lot... 
I’m planning on cloth diapering as much as possible but hear I need to wait til baby is about 8lbs and am not going to beat myself up for using disposables to start with when everything is brand new and I’m just trying to survive!!

We like hello bello a lot, they’re sooo soft!  Honest diapers fit well but they stink so bad when they’re wet.

I was interested in these too! Does anyone know if they are fragrance free? I have really sensitive skin which my derm said to prepare for her having but even if baby doesn’t have my sensitive skin I will have to find diapers that don’t flare my eczema and are soft and comfy for her. I have found a few other brands to try but will add these too!
