Grading?

Question

I do not understand the numbers and grading. I get the letters correlate to the 2 parts but what do numbers mean? My doctor just told me they transferred an AA embryo this morning which she said was great. I’m feeling hopeful but have been reading that the grades do not really mean anything...? 
Praying for a healthy implantation that sticks!!!

The grading really doesn’t mean much. It’s basically just for the embryologist. The grading doesn’t indicate if the embryo is healthy or not, unless PGS was done.

From what I understand AA is considered top quality (as far as looks go) embryos. That being said, grading doesn't necessarily have any bearing on whether or not they'll stick. Women with top graded embryos have been successful  and unsuccessful and women with poorly graded embryos have been both successful and unsuccessful. My clinic wouldn't even give us grades.
