TB test?

Off topic but does anyone know what a positive TB test looks like? This is my arm 48 hours later

Is there a bump? It has to have a bump to be positive. Your whole body can turn red, but without a bump it's negative

Positive. Doesn’t mean you have it just means you have the potential. They will order you a chest x-ray. It is very common for people to be allergic to the test and get a false positive result. Once you know that is the case with you then you can just refuse the test and get the x-ray.

I’m an RN trained to read TB tests. It more looks like a localized reaction which can happen. If there is a raised area then it needs to be measured followed by an X-ray looking for latent or active TB. Here is more information from the CDC. Good luck!

This is what mine always look like because my skin is so sensitive. Unless it's raised, you're in good shape. You can ask more questions when you go to get it read if you're still worried.

If it's raised at all then it's positive. If it's just red but not raised, then it's just a localized reaction. I have a slight allergy to the serum and mine always look like that but are negative because there's no bump.
