So I posted yesterday about how I got a membrane sweep on Friday afternoon at 3cm, currently 39w. I started getting contractions almost immediately and they slowly progressed to 5 mins apart and lasting about 50 mins. I went in the shower to start preparing to head to the hospital and they just slowed down and eventually stopped. So we stayed home.

Last night I started getting very mild contractions every 10 mins and not very painful so I ended up falling asleep. Since the sweep I’ve had very little spotting but today I am spotting a lot, it’s not red but brown so I know it’s old but it’s wayyy more than i had yesterday.

Could this be a sign that labor is on its way or near ?
