My almost 6 month old is very chubby. He’s long as well as heavy. I think he weighs 19 pounds. Does this mean he’ll be a chubby boy or will he slim down once he’s on the move?

He'll likely slim down. Both of my kids are in the 1% for height and chubby as babies. My first was 19 lbs at 6 months and he's now 2 and only 25 lbs. He's only gained 4 lbs since he became mobile at 9 months. My second was 21 lbs at 6 months. He's now 7.5 months and about 23 lbs, but he isn't mobile in any way whatsoever yet.

My daughter was 18 pounds at 5 months lol. Doesn’t mean they’re going to be obese. Some kids are just chunky and big. But when they get older they’ll lose the “baby fat” don’t worry
