Do you feed to sleep for naps/night sleep?

Question

I still nurse my ebf 6 month old to sleep every night and for some naps. It feels so natural and normal to me but my family finds it weird that I do that. Thoughts?

I nurse my little guy to sleep for the night almost every night. I don’t usually do so for naps though because I want him to be able to put himself to sleep when he needs to. I did the same for my other two children. With that said, I don’t think it’s weird at all. There’s nothing weird about nursing your baby to sleep. It’s very soothing and comforting to them so it is natural!

I nurse my baby girl every night as the last thing before she goes to sleep. 6 out of 7 nights she falls asleep feeding, sometimes she does not and goes to bed on her own in the crib. For me it is just that I want to make sure she is well fed for bed time so that we will get 🤞🏻 the most sleep possible.

I don't think it's weird, it's just something I decided I don't want to do anymore. I want my husband to be able to put him to sleep, and I'm hoping to do night feedings soon. I say do what works for y'all and ignore people who aren't helping

I nurse him, but he’s usually awake when I lay him down to sleep. He watches his mobile and sometimes sucks his hand. Totally normal and natural

Same as you my son is EBF and always nurses to sleep at bedtime and occasionally for naps. 
My firstborn nursed to sleep for bedtime until he stopped nursing at 15 months and nursed to sleep for every nap until about a year old. It worked for us, it felt right and he had no problem falling asleep on his own after he weaned
