Baby hold with Haaka?

Is football hold the only way to place baby if trying to collect milk with the Haaka on the other side? I can’t picture baby across my chest and the Haaka on at the same time! How does this work? Lol

I do it with baby across, just gotta have her legs/butt be a bit farther out. She hates football hold lol it works fine for us.

I hold my baby with her legs down by my hip bone directly below the hakaa, so she’s kind of across my body at an angle.

I use my nursing bra to hold it it,interloop the straps around it somehow..same with my pump.
Its tough,but you get used to it.

I have small boobs, so that probably plays a role. but I cross hold, and haven't had any issues. sometimes I hold it if baby is a little squirmy, as I dont want him to kick it. we never football hold, I just hold him how its comfortable.
