When did your doctor find a heartbeat with Doppler?

I don’t get n ultrasound till 12 - 14 weeks! I have my next doc appt at nearly 10 weeks. I’m wondering if he’ll even try with the Doppler or if it’s too early.  I’d love to hear the heartbeat!

They should. With my first I started getting doppler done at 10 weeks. Took a bit of searching and pushing deeper into my pubic area but they found it.

My first pregnancy we found the heartbeat on a doppler at 8.2, the doctor warned me we might not find it and was a little surprised he found it right away. My midwife this time around said they can’t find it until 11 weeks, but I think that’s just her trying to be safe since obviously I’ve heard it earlier. I would think your doctor will try to find it by 10 weeks.
