Cloth diapers?

Question

If you do use cloth diapers, is it hard?
Do you ever consider switching to disposable?
How many do you feel is the “right amount”? I’ve heard having too many could also be an issue.

We use cloth! It’s great. I saved soo much money. Unfortunately, my son has a huge caboose and outgrew them very recently. 
We’re going to use cloth for Baby 2 as well.

I love cloth! My daughter is two and we have been using them since she was a month old. Once you have a routine i personally find it easy, and i wouldnt go back to disposable for a few reasons. 1) way less cute. 2) im not used to disposables now so whenever i use them i feel like im doing something wrong haha 3) i put a disposable on her the other day and it was way too easy for her to shove her hands in it and almost rip it off haha. She cant rip off my domed cloth nappies (though she does try with the velcro ones). 4) on the odd occasion i have used a disposable i find they smell weird?
I was probably also extra motivated to keep up with cloth because disposables are an extra cost we dont want to/cant afford to pay.

I started out with disposables the first 2 weeks then switched to cloth. We definitely haven't looked back! We recently went travelling and used disposable. We so looked forward to using cloth again because we just feel they fit better, don't slide off his butt plus just the amount of waste is nothing in comparison to throwing away a diaper every time. They work really great for us and we find it isn't any harder than disposables. We use covers and prefolds. I think we have about 35 prefolds and maybe 15 covers and it lasts us 3-4 days before doing laundry

We have 18 and I wash every third day. It’s really not difficult. Sometimes, especially in the beginning, you have to just trial and error until you find what works for you and then that’ll work for a while and then you outgrow your system and have to revamp. I’d suggest ONLY researching from flufflove because they’re the only ones who know what they’re talking about.

No it isn’t hard. The hardest part is learning how to do it and deciding which types to buy. No I don’t consider switching to disposables. I do fine with 18-24 inserts and 6-8 covers.

My baby isn't born yet but I'm planning on using cloth so I'd be interested on seeing what others advise as well x
