C section question?

So I had a transverse c section with my 1st daughter wich burst open then had to be packed and heal from the inside out. Had home nurses twice a day for months had to have a wound vac and didnt and up closing all the way until baby was 5 months old. I labored for about 15 hours 1st fully dilated 1st epidural fell out second didnt take baby was sunny side up also I was induced due to blood pressure anyways question is the time dr wants to do a vertical incision says less risk of busting again also I'm overweight 1st incision in under my fat roll lol... anyways anyone know anything about the up and down incision any different risk ? Dont know what one to choose
