Getting induced in 6 hours

I’m excited and scared!

Cervix is still closed so they have to ripen it first with cervadil, then once softened they will start the pitocin.

I’m hoping for a smooth vaginal delivery with epidural. Can’t to see my baby’s face 😊😊😊

UPDATE:

Got cervadil inserted at 9:00AM, it started contractions and they got pretty close together and strong.

Then my water broke at 4:30, and then contractions were coming two at a time because of the cervadil which isn’t good for baby (no rest period) so they removed the cervadil. Only dilated from zero to 1cm 😫

I kept having contractions til about 8:00pm but they really tapered off. Doc gave me the choice of doing cervadil again tonight to try and push through or going home to rest and try again tomorrow morning. I chose to come home and rest.
