Urinary incontinence due to muscle or nerve damage??

Has anyone dealt with this and what has been your treatment and outcome?? Currently waiting to get tested to see if this is why I'm having issues. I'm almost 7 weeks postpartum. I'm having all kinds of horrible bladder issues that literally keep me stuck at home. I'm so afraid to be out in public as heavy duty incontinence pads just aren't enough when my bladder randomly decides to unload!!! I'm assuming I won't find anyone in the same boat as me, I feel so alone with this issue. 😔

You are not alone. I had this with my second and it took around 9-10 weeks for it to get better. Around that 9-10 weeks i felt like i had a little more control. I just had my 3rd and did not have this problem after him. Good luck mama it will get better.

I am 7 weeks postpartum and still struggling with incontinent. Its not as bad as it was immediately after giving birth, for the first two weeks or so I had no control of my bladder and was wearing depends since I didn't even know when I had to use the bathroom. It was awful. I have been doing kegels, and they are helping. At my 6 week appointment, the doctor said that there is physical therapy to help strengthen the pelvic floor muscles which would help. Since I'm seeing improvement by just doing kegels, I am not going to do physical therapy.

I had the same issues for a while after having my daughter. It got better just took time.
