My son fell out of high chair today. I wasn’t home (I was at work), he was with his sitter. She’s an absolute wreck, and at first I freaked out. But aside from a huge bump, some tears, and running to the doctor he’s totally fine. Obviously I’ll be keeping a close eye on him for the next few days but he was already back to normal by the time we got home. All the doctors and nurses were telling us how we made it through the toughest rite of passage- the first big bump. They all had their own stories about their own kids and said they’re surprised we made it nine months without this happening.
