I love my boyfriends mom to death, I really do but she’s on my last nerve here lately.

We currently live in the basement at their place until his cousin comes home so we can rent his house and switch everything over to his name.

We keep it clean and keep to ourselves and do our own laundry but she is constantly putting us down.

She always says she’s finding dead cockroaches downstairs when we aren’t home and complains about having to do our laundry. She tells us that we won’t be able to make rent on our own without a roommate.

We have never once had cockroaches down here. Like I said, we keep it clean and take the trash out when it needs to be taken out. We vacuum and wipe everything down. We make the bed. There’s never been a cockroach down here!! She only says that when we’re not home. And she always comes down here when we’re not home and RECLEANS because my cleaning isn’t good enough I guess. She remakes the bed and moves our stuff around including our clothes in the closet and drawers.

She’s constantly complains about how expensive their water bill is because of us. But we take showers together and stay in their for 15-20 minutes? It’s his younger brother that takes 45 minute showers but we get the blame for it.

She never does our laundry, and if she does it’s just a few items. Never a full load. I’ve done HER laundry!!

I’m not sure what to do. I’m too nice to say anything to her about this but it really grinds my gears because I do everything that I can to help around the house and she acts like this towards us. I understand that it’s her house but we keep it clean and orderly and it’s our stuff down there, not hers that she’s always moving.

I guess I just needed to rant about this.
