I went to the doctor today for my 6 week postpartum check up. I was given the all clear to resume all normal activities including sex. So when we got home my boyfriend and I decided to have sex. We went very slow and there was plenty of lubrication but it hurt so bad I was in tears! It literally felt like my vagina was tearing in half. The pain was so sharp and burning. This is my 1st child so I had no idea what to expect...is it supposed to hurt like this? Will it go away? Is there anything I can do to make it better?
