Pap smear?

I am 19 and married and have been trying for a baby for over a year. Should I get a Pap smear or something to help find out what’s wrong with me? I just got insurance and have no idea how to go about finding out why I haven’t got pregnant. I need advice please and thank you!

If you are sexually active - you should get a Pap smear. Period. During your appt, of course you can bring up how you are TTC. But a Pap smear is a very important preventative exam for women no matter if they are 17 or 71.

I don’t know if a Pap smear can tell you why you haven’t been able to conceive. Call the drs office and see if they can point you in the right direction or just make an appointment with a dr, they may send a referral in to a specialist
