Are you getting your nails done before birth?

I kind of want to do gel/shellac on my fingernails so they look nice in photos but don’t want to have to deal with the hassle of getting them redone or going to salon to have them removed within like 2 weeks of baby being born. Not sure if it’d be just more of an unnecessary hassle.

I had my toenails done as a compromise 🤷🏼‍♀️ my hands are just filed and clear varnish!

I just got mine done a few days ago. I’ve been cranky and self conscious lately with my prego bod so my fiancé told me to go get them done 😂 I plan I’m going after the baby as well to get a balance. Gotta do one thing at least to keep my spirits up and make myself feel pretty 🤷🏼‍♀️

Toes yes, hands I’m going to just have a manicure with no polish, maybe clear. But I don’t want to deal with the color growing out on them

I get my nails done with a gel manicure every two weeks on the dot. I’m due to go this weekend and I plan on doing so even though baby is due next weekend. I don’t plan on changing my routine once baby is here either. Self care is important and having my nails done makes me feel like a small part of my life is put together! Haha!

I literally had a gel mani and pedi today and I’m due on Sunday. I wanted to feel more myself in preparation for the birth and arrival of a newborn. I work in surgery so I never get chance to wear nail varnish, my boyfriend treated me 😍

I treated myself to a mani/pedi yesterday and tried shellac fingernails for the first time.  You can easily soak them off with acetone at home when they start to look bad so I’m happy with the decision.  Nice light color and they look really classy.
