For some reason I do not feel sexually attracted to romantic partners or romantically attracted to sexual partners. It is almost as though they are completely separate things for me. It is really confusing, does anyone else feel this way?

I have a girlfriend who’s been in a 12 yr relationship with someone who exhibits the same reaction to significant others. They were polyamorous for years with great success. He goes to therapy for it, and finds it helps. They have been monogamous for the last few years and things are going well. This is you, it’s not wrong. You are what you are, which is exactly what you should be, and there are ways to integrate this part of you into all kinds of relationships. Just stay honest about it, and the right person will understand, and do what they can to support you.
