I got cheer captain on my squad, but I feel as though I don’t deserve it. I am a good cheerleader, but I’m just not really the “cheerleader” type. I don’t dress up every day and I’m not that pretty or thin and I don’t party and attract guys. I feel like the rest of them function in a language I can’t learn and I don’t know what to do. I feel like I’ve been given a huge responsibility that I’m excited about, but can only think about how I’m letting everyone down because I’m not what a cheerleader is “supposed” to be.
