When to start OPK testing?

Hi guys! I’m new to the app and have been ttc for going on 2 months. I’m the last day of my period is tomorrow so when should I start OPK testing. All next week? Or after? I’m just confused with this stuff.

For me, the first two months I tested every day to get a good baseline. Now I test around days 10-11 to see the high then leak fertility days.

I was told that if you are just starting out to do it the first 2-3 months from the day your period ends until you get a positive so you can get an idea of when to start testing on other cycles. Also don’t forget to stop testing after you get your positive so you don’t freak yourself out.

Not sure what brand your using. I specifically used digital. Clear blue I think. And it would start you on a certain cycle day depending on how long your cycles were on average. I can’t remember 100% but I think for me, I was an average of 29 day cycles so it told me to start testing on cycle day 10
