34 & AMH of 0.25, should I jump into IVF

KeraT

We have been trying for 4 years with 1 miscarriage. Finally saw specialist last year & took 6 months to get all the testing done. Result: my AMH is very low but rest including FSH is good. Borderline high thyroid & glucose. Doctor recommended IVF especially if we want more than one child but we could start with IUI/clomid if we just want one kid.

I am confused l. As you can see from our timeline, we have not been aggressive with fertility planning, always feeling like ‘it will happen when it’s meant to”. But time is not on my side

Should we jump into IVF due to high chance of success. Or try IUI even with my low egg reserve so I can ease into IVF. I am worried about how intense IVF, the shots/med/anesthesia scares me. But I also don’t want to waste anymore time & findout I disqualify for IVF. I also wonder how much the doc are telling truth and how much of it is pushing for money.

If anyone else decides on IVF how did u decide you are ready?
