Update! We are doing amazing.

1. We are not allowed to post pictures or give details of his situation.

2. I am so amazed at the number of people that are sending love my way! Thank you!!!! We are so lucky to have him.

3. I do know the rock and play is recalled. We learned this when the recall happened. We have several friends who love theirs, so we decided to keep it. He spends little time in it and we do not leave him alone in it.

I do know there is someone on this feed that has experienced a friends loss. I am so sorry and do feel for those parents. I don’t know the details of the circumstance and I would not judge.

With that said I have read a lot about this recall and in most situations, parents were not using this item with manufacturers directions. I don’t think Fischer Price should be responsible for parents not following direction uses.

Kinda made me feel “mommy” shamed that it’s all over a post that should be a happy post. Please keep comments to happy as this path is already so so hard on us.

I can’t believe the day is finally here. After two year of trying ttc, and 7 months of training/inspections to open our home for foster care, we finally get to parent!

We do not know what is in our future. All we know is we get to start loving on a baby! Please pray we have the strength to do what is best for this baby and that hopefully our path with him is adoption.
