i’m only 6 weeks right now, have my doctor appointment the 22nd! what week can you find out the gender?

Usually around 20 weeks at your anatomy ultrasound. Your doctor might offer you genetic testing around 10 weeks and you could find out the gender that way, but your insurance might not cover it & you’d have to pay out of pocket

By blood test as early as 9 weeks and I had an ultrasound done at 14+2 that clearly showed boy parts so I’m sure you could even see a little sooner . 🤷🏼‍♀️ also, my anatomy scan confirmed the early gender ultrasound but they can be tricky depending on what view you get of your baby . Congratulations, it’s all so exciting!

Blood test can tell you at 12 weeks or earlier. Ultrasound can usually tell by 16 weeks, but normal-risk pregnancies don't typically have 16 week ultrasounds, unless it's a private, elective scan. Anatomy scan is done at 20 weeks and you can tell gender then.
