what is the best applicator for foundation and why?

hi girls! (: so im wanting to get some feedback on what the best applicator is for foundation. any feedback is greatly appreciated! 💕

Depends on the type of foundation: powder, liquid, cream. Generally, I like clean fingers for liquid, sponge for creams, and brushes for powders.

Fingers and brushes. Everything else is unnecessary and unsanitary. Even brushes are quite disgusting when sanitized and cleaned properly.

I used a brush for the longest time before I recently switched to a beauty blender.. best decision of my life! My liquid foundation and setting powder look so good now!

Depends on your skin type and the look you want. 
If you've an oily skin it's best to stick with brush and buff the foundation in layer by layer. 
If you're dry then beauty blender works because it's damp so it gives some moisture and also give a slightly more dewy look as compared to brush. 
But if you want high coverage then you should use brush. 
It all depends on how you wanna play with your make up and your desired results.   
For the rest, I don't like silicon ones to be any good. I would rather use my fingers.

I just use my clean fingers. As i rub it on my skin it warms it slightly and makes it very smooth and i dont waste any on sponges or brushes.
