Those of you with babies that had eczema as an infant, did it go away as they got older?

My daughters cheeks were seeping goop and blood by five months because her eczema was so bad. We finally got it under control. Now she’s about to be two and only has very small, manageable patches every now and then. But it’s definitely gotten WAY better!

I had it really bad when I was young, it got better as i got older, but never went away. I still have it on my hands, eyelids, and inner arm.

I don’t know about my baby yet because he still has it at 13 months but I had it terribly when I was little and I outgrew it by time I was an adult. It just continued to get better with age for me so hoping the same with my son.

I said no... but also yes. It gets easier. 
As babies and toddlers it's more to care for and treat. My daughter who is now 12 grew out of hers mostly. But still can not use scented laundry soap. Sometimes she gets itchy again but a good few days of lotion fixes it and no patches show up.
Oddly as a child I didn't have it but now I do have it. Only in the inside of my elbows and under arms. Mine flares mostly when the humidity of summer in Florida gets to me.
My toddler who is 22 months has it also. So I think hers will do as her sisters and get better in time.
