Negative opk at 8dpo?

Does anyone know if you get a negative opk, can you still be pregnant? I’m only 8dpo but this morning I tested with an opk because I couldn’t resist not testing with something and wanted to save my pregnancy tests. Anyway, it was negative. Do I still have a chance?

Opks dont test for pregnancy. Use a pregnancy test to test for pregnancy.

8dpo is early. Use an actual pregancy test when you want to test as you'll just drive yourself nuts wondering when you use an LH strip! High LH is also VERY common before your period, so it gives you false sense of hope. Just use regular tests. And hold off until 12 DPo before starting to test
