Do you and your SO have the same views as far as abortion, gay, politics, etc?

My mom recently asked me if my bf and I shared the same views on things and honestly. I'm not sure where he stands on some things... just curious to know ab other relationships and if it still works if you dont share the same?

I dated a guy who had opposite views than me for a while.. I hated it. He would always say insensitive things and I just couldn’t get past it. 
My grandmother always said the only “mixed marriage” that won’t work is people with different political views. I whole heartedly agree.

For the most part we agree on those topics but we have different views when it comes to a few minor things. No big deal. 🤷‍♀️

We disagree on a few minor things. If we didn’t agree on all of the core or bigger topics, I couldn’t have married him. Would you be ok with your children one day thinking the same as their dad from his influence?

I'm very conservative and my husband is very liberal but we agree on a lot of things so it's never been an issue

In the broad sense we agree. When it comes to small details we usually have differences. We just see things differently and that’s okay.

We do have on a lot of things but not everything. And we find it hard to see each other's views on these other things so we just agree not to talk about them.
