I just had a conversation with my s.o and he said that when we first started dating he was disgusted that I wasn’t a virgin, that he was grosses out that I had sex with other guys. So I was like?? Well you should’ve just went and go fuck someone else???

Hmm I feel conflicted by this. If he was more so just put off by the idea that you’ve had sex with other men, but recognized it was something he had to get over and did, then i wouldn’t be bothered by it. But if he said that in a way to degrade you, then that’s wrong.

My now ex husband was the same way.. but it was because HE was insecure. Because he felt like he was inadequate and should’ve had all my firsts. That’s not very realistic nor do I think it’s fair. He wasn’t a virgin and I don’t expect someone to give me all of their firsts in life. People need to explore and find out who they are and what they do and don’t like. People can build resentment towards their spouses over constantly failing to provide their wants and needs.
