cheap weddings?

i wanna have a cheap wedding, like under 5,000. any ideas?

We spent about $1000 more or less on our wedding. Including venue, dress, food. 
We did a wedding brunch the venue had a beautiful small patio where we had the ceremony and inside we ate. I kept it very small only close family and friends. Didn’t go crazy with decor the venue was beautiful so didn’t need much anyways.

Keep it small do a lot  DIY for decoration do homework to get the best prices for catering and your cake same with your dress try to stay on a budget for each thing

We did ours nearly free. Hand me down dress and suit he already owned, did it in a park, a cheap one serving thing of wine and a one dollar glass from the dollar store for the breaking of the glass ceremony, grandpa officiated, had parents and siblings there. My engagement ring was left to me for an engagement ring from husband's grandma who died just before we got engaged, wedding band was made by a friend (jewelery maker, it was a simple white gold ring), his ring was a silicone ring until this Christmas when we switched it for a tungsten ring

We got married in a beautiful church,
We had our reception right by the beach,
All decorations were made and put up ( including 500+ balloons!!! ) by myself and my bridesmaids,
All food was cooked and served by my family members,
My friend was our photographer ( heartbroken that she broke off our friendship and deleted our photos !!!!!! 😡😡😡)
My dress was brand new, £120!! 
All together we had a beautiful day in the sun, we were surrounded by friends and family.. and we only spent £1,200!!

Venue, food and entertainment tend to be the most expensive things to tackle, followed by decor and outfits. 
We are saving money by having ours in my SO’s Nana’s back yard because it overlooks a lake, I got my ring for >$50 on Etsy and my dress for less than $200 online. 
We are cooking as much as we can, and only catering dessert
