HCG levels 8 weeks...too low?

Question

I went to get a 3D ultrasound today just for fun (I haven’t had a doctor do one yet) and they saw the sac but no baby. 
I freaked out and went to the ER and they said my levels are 7,100. 
That seems way low to me. 
They also said to not trust the accuracy of an abdominal scan at this point because usually only transvaginal can pick up an 8 week old baby. 
But why could they see the sac and no baby? It doesn’t make sense, I’m scared and I don’t have another U/S until Friday. 
Is 7,100 too low for an 8 week baby?

Honestly at those numbers & how far along you say you are they should be able to see baby, heartbeat, ect. For me at 8weeks though I had to have a transvaginal US to see it all. Good luck babe xoxox

This was my 8week scan transvaginal. Clearly see baby & all. Including her heartbeat. You must be alot earlier than you thought. Good luck babe. Sending good vibes your way! Xoxoxo

I don't understand how they can't see a baby at 8 weeks usually they see something at 6 weeks. I was 6 weeks when u did my last ultrasound.... And well I was miscarring so that's why they didn't see anything! Good luck I'm sure your not as far as you can think you are! 🙏❤️

You might be earlier than you thought but by 8w you should clearly see a baby, only a sac puts you around 5w

It could just be that you're not as far along as you think.
Even if you know when you ovulated, you'll never 100% know when implantation happens.

I never got my levels checked, but my first US was at 9 weeks and they could clearly see a baby and find a heartbeat. She was measuring 6 days ahead at that time though.

Please be patient while reading my story. 
I found out that I was pregnant on April 21st,the best day of my life (other than my wedding day) I had a whole week being pregnant and the happiest person ever! Friday the 26th I started to have some spotting. So I get to the hospital waited 17 HOURS.... to see a doctor to take blood tests. So the next day Saturday at 8:30am they call my name. I go in do blood tests. I waited 2 hours more for my results... Hcg level = 114!!!!hmmm I said to the doctor what does that mean. She said "well you are for sure pregnant but ur hcg levels have to go up every 48 hours" so I kept thinking to myself "omg hcg levels are low they have to go higher, what does it mean" so the whole time I'm fresking out because of the hcg thing and the spotting. I was asking the doctor is it normal. She said yes some woman experience spotting throughout the whole pregnancy and some dont. Ok so now I had to go back Monday for more blood tests. Waited 3 hours hcg levels = 78!!WTF DOES THIS MEAN NOW..... 😩 at this point I'm fresking out. So now she comes back with the results 2 hours later ur hcg level is going Down and u can have a miscarriage at any point. So now I'm literally fresking out, crying my eyes out scared shitless. All I can think of is nooooooo baby stick!!!! But it doesn't work that way... Unfortunately. So now at this point I'm 5 weeks and 5 days. So now I do ultrasounds because the doc wanted to see if she can see anything in the uturus. So I did the ultrasound AND.... I had to do a Vaginal ultrasound just to be safe and to make sure it wasn't an ECTOPIC PREGNANCY 😥 so now at this point I was feeling faint. I said to myself "that's it" this is it it's coming out I'm gonna have a miscarriage. Get my results after the scabs like 2 hours later they say they can't see anythjng and maybe it's because I was too early. Ok. Well BACK AT THE HOSPITAL for more freaking blood tests. (now at this point my both arms were all black and blue from all the blood tests I had to do every 48 hours.) now my hcg levels are at 140!!!so now the gynocolagist is like k "this is weird" your hcg levels are up down up down we never see this. She's like it's weird. Now at this point I'm starting to get cramps and more spotting... So I said LISTEN TO ME.. YOU BETTER FIND IT AND U BETTER CURE ME BECAUSE I AM SCARED AND NERVOUS AND I CAN'T SLEEP. U BETTER MAKE SURE I DON'T SUFFER BECAUSE I'M DONE WITH ALL THIS. THIS IS TOO MUCH. she said yes I know we understand. But we have to monitor you every 48 hours to see what's going on. Last week went back for blood work hcg levels 323!!!what the FUCKKKKK. NOW like now now I'm fresking out I knew that it wasn't gonna happen I new I was gonna have this miscarriage because of the hcg levels. And the bleeding and the spotting. So now I tell the doctor "plzzzz you have to give me something so I can get it out of me because at this point I was worried for me not for the baby anymore. If it would have ended up in my tube I would have died. Bleed so much and it just would of been even more of a disaster. So she's like" well we can't give u anything unless we know where it is. But we can't find it. 🤬🤬🤬Like really... Maybe I'm too early and that's why u can't. Anyways. So I left. Went back on Sunday that just passed and my hcg levels went to 161 down again
Than Wednesday they were at 68. Wednesday when I got home there was a blood clot that feel from me and last night the placenta came out! Freaking out so much. So confimed miscarriage 😢😭!!!! But in a way I'm thankful it was early than later. But now we will ttc again soon once the bleeding has stoped.
P. S some woman go through pregnancy with low hCG levels the whole time and have a healthy baby. But thank god I went that day when I spotted blood because I wouldn't have known🙏pray for the next pregnancy. And good luck to all the mamas out there! We can do this, we are strong 💕💕💕
