MIL ???

Question

Y'all I don't really know what to think of this woman. There's a lot that goes into this but I'll just ask a simple question: if your MIL showed absolutely no interest in your pregnancy, what would you think? 
Before we were pregnant, she told my husband that she "didn't know if she wanted our grandchildren." And now she's not said anything to us about it, hasn't asked about it, I invited her to baby shower, no show.. just. What would your thoughts on this be?

She doesnt want to be involved is how id take it. So if she changes her tune magically when the babys here, arms leagth it is. My kids arent to be toyed with cuz she cant make up her mind. Thats how id handle it.

I have two kids and she never really cares. She doesn’t ask how I am, how big I am, about any of my appointments. My SIL is pregnant with her first and my MIL hasn’t asked her about her pregnancy either.
Some are just like that. She’s pretty good with my toddler though.

My boyfriend's father and stepmother...and just his family in general hasn't talked to us at all. If they magically decide to pull their heads out of their butts when the baby is here, I'm going to be very cautious. I'm not going to allow people to be in my son's life only when it's convenient for them and then pull a disappearing act again.

My thoughts would be she doesn't want to be involved, I'm not going out of my way to make her be involved. She can regret it later on her own time.
