Humans going extinct, consequences
I remember a discussion on how the planet would be better if we went extinct and the thing that was bothering me is everyone forgot at least one thing. Who is going to maintain the nuclear power plants? Does everyone realize that if they start the same process as Chernobyl but no one is there to stop it this time, it will be a nuclear explosion that will wipe out at least 100 miles of everything. Then if some how anything survives the blast they will not survive the radiation or the nuclear winter. There are a ton of those so no life would not be better. That's just the power plants let's not forget most countries have a dead man switch for bombs.
