“Lost their life to suicide “ not committed.

My father Jeffery Wayne Olmstead. Age 50, lost his life to suicide October 11,2017.

I am part of a organization called Fight 22 our goal is to help veterans with ptsd and bring suicide awareness amongst veterans and others. I have read many post on here about people saying “ my friend/dad/brother ect “Committed suicide “. When in fact they did not commit anything! They had a illness and lost their fight. It’s very important to get people to understand this saying “committed” is not correct and that we have people who have a very serious illness that we need to help. I am not saying this with any anger for those who posted these comments but simply to inform and educate! I am always open to questions and have a lot of information on how to help!
