Did anyone not have a 12 week scan?

I found out I was pregnant at 5 weeks. I had my first appointment with my OBGYN about 4 days later. It was your regular pap smear, going over what to expect, etc. Around 8 or so weeks, I was dehydrated and went to the ER where they performed a vaginal ultra sound to ensure everything was okay since I had been so sick and crampy. 
My first official ultrasound was at 9 weeks and 4 days. It was amazing. 😍. My husbands reaction was adorable. 
Any who, I was suppose to have an appointment on May 13th to hear the heartbeat on the fetal doppler. This appointment was supposed to be when I was 13 weeks and 4 days. Well last week, I was having some cramping on my left side heavily so since I was in the same building as my OBGYN for my prenatal labs, they had me come on up. 
I got to listen to the babe's heartbeat and everything was a okay. 
My question is, has anyone not gotten a 12 week scan? I'm 13 weeks as of today and only have my glucose test scheduled for today. I don't have another appointment until May 29th since my OBGYN cancelled my May 13th one. I wasn't told if my appointment on the 29th is an ultrasound one or not 😭. 
I just want to see my little pumpkin again y'all

After my 8 week dating scan I didn’t have another until my anatomy scan at 18 weeks . You could always go to an elective ultrasound place and pay out of pocket if you wanted to see more than there scheduling you

I know they do one on Australia it's the neuchal scan or something that helps screen for down syndrome you however have to pay for it unless you are high risk so I don't get it

Same- only had one early scan and then again at 20 weeks for the anatomical scan. You had your glucose test already?! For gestational diabetes??? Mine wasn’t till waaay later....I didn’t know they could tell that early

I had one at 8 weeks & 20 weeks so far. I’ll have another on the 22nd of this month and then one more when I’m around 36 weeks.

I went and got an independent scan at 13 weeks and 33 weeks. My dr has only done a 8 week and a 17 week, though I may have a 36 week one also.

That’s pretty normal... you likely won’t have ultrasounds every time (although this varies by doctor). It’s usually a dating ultrasound and then the anatomy scan at 20 weeks. Sometimes maybe one more, but often they’ll just use the Doppler to hear the heartbeat and if there are no issues, then they have no need for an ultrasound. Most doctors just want to check on you and the heart beat every 4 weeks or so for the first two trimesters, so since they checked on you recently, it’s completely normal that they’d not want to see you for four more weeks now.
This is my second child and since I had a very healthy first pregnancy (and my doctor is my neighbor, so I can always call or text her if I have any issues), she saw me at 6 weeks for my annual paps and did the dating scan then, and now won’t see me again until 11 weeks. Then she’ll listen to the heartbeat, and do the genetic blood work. I don’t expect another ultrasound until my anatomy scan around halfway.

I had one dating scan at 7 weeks, one at 20 weeks, and then ultrasounds every 2 weeks after 26 weeks (I was high risk though). You can go to an elective ultrasound place and pay out of pocket.

In Finland everybody has a scan at 12 weeks and 20 weeks. Of course you get more if something is off. At the 12 week scan they measure the NT if you want the screening done.

Most doctors only do 2-3 ultrasounds. I saw mine at 9weeks and then 20w and I’ll have another one just not sure when. Probably around 35-38w
