Talk to me about PCOS

I feel like I understand the basics, due to this community, but I would like to hear more from those who have experience with it, rather than me just googling.

I just got off the phone with my Dr and she informed me that it looks like I may have PCOS.

My husband and I have been TTC for nearly 3 years and are finally starting to get tests done. I had labs done a few days ago and had pelvic ultrasounds done today (both abdominal and vaginal). We will be meeting with a fertility specialist next week.

A few questions I have about PCOS:

-what would the Dr likely start with, treatment wise?

-how much harder is it to conceive?

-is there anything I can do to help this?

Please share any additional information you think I could benefit from along with any good articles you found to be helpful.
