LOOKING FOR CAR EXPERTS

i recently bought a 2007 mini copper and the engine light turned on I scanned it and the code P0014 came up and says “B camshaft position timing over advanced” the car seems to drive fine and everything although i know nothing about cars. I am hoping if any of you (or your partners) would know anything like if it’s and easy fix my boyfriend could do or approx pricing at mechanics. I’m not in the best place for money right now so I’m just trying to see if it is even worth taking it to the mechanic. Thank you!!
