Folate vs Folic Acid

I've browsed various sites over the months, trying to deduce what the best option for me would be. In the beginning, I started with Folic Acid, then switched to Folate. I'm constantly looking up information about the vitamins I need to absorb. Typically, I get what I need in my diet, but I like to research different prescription and non-prescription prenatal vitamins (organic, natural, vegetarian, vegan, etc).
