Does your baby have reflux?

What were their symptoms? I’m pretty sure my daughter has it, I’ll talk to her pedi about it at her next appt. but I wanted to hear other people’s experience. She spits up A LOT, she sometimes will be sleeping and then makes a noise like she’s gasping for air, she cries and arches her back when I try to burp her.. thoughts? And if you got prescribed Zantac did it help your baby?

My daughter has had reflux since about 3 months old. When drinking a bottle after a few sips she would arch her back and screech in pain. She would also spit up and cry in pain if I laid her down right after a bottle. She was prescribed Zantac and it helped immensely. The first dose the Dr prescribed (0.75ml 2x a day) wasn’t quite enough and so went up to 1ml 2x a day and that’s been a good dose for her. She’s 8 months old now and the reflux has gotten much better so we’re slowly weaning her off the Zantac. Reflux usually greatly improves when they start solid foods.

Don’t get the prescription it’s not good for your insides. Does sound like acid reflux you try gripe water? Also try keeping your baby up right longer after feedings to give the stomach time to settle.
