Baby’s first bath??

Do I really need to wait til his umbilical cord falls off? Or can I still bathe him carefully without completing soaking it? FTM!!

With my first babe we laid him down on a towel & just wiped him down really good with soap & warm water on a wash cloth. Im pretty sure his first bath was done in the hospital.

I would wait! They are squiggly little buggers and you don’t want to get it submerged. Washcloth wipe Down is fine though, away from the belly button.

Just sponge bath, no need to do more than that

You could just do like a "sponge bath" but I wouldn't do an actual bath yet.
