1st time luck?

Question

I'm supposed to insem. for the first time after af leaves and I'm curious as to how common it is to get successful after the first try. Because I think after we try this one time it will be a while until we try again....I have hopes it will work especially with the tools we have but then again who knows...please help me I'm a bit anxious.

There are a lot of different factors- your age, if you have health issues, if you are using fresh or frozen sperm, timing... If you are inseminating with fresh sperm at the right time your chance of getting pregnant should roughly match what Glow says on the tracking part of the app. I'm 34 and doing IUI with frozen sperm and the chances each time are 20-25%. Some people get lucky and get pregnant right away and for others it takes longer. I hope it works for you on the first try!
