PUPPY HELP SOS

Alexandra🌻

So this is gonna be a lil bit of long post cuz you know a girls gotta give all the details to avoid being crucified

Okay so for starters I didn’t just go out and buy this puppy Willy nilly. My boyfriends little brother was on his first date and some family was giving them out in the park (come to find out later she was sick and needed a lot of medical attention and they were prob back yard breeders and couldn’t afford to treat them all)

Obviously being 17 and on his first date, he takes the puppy. My boyfriend and I are in the process of looking for a house (where we would get a puppy anyways) and I figured she could live with me at my parents til we move in a few months. We are EXTREME dog people. This is my precious little Sabrina

Okay so fast forward to the part I need help with:

I live in a basement room so she has somewhat of a big area in my room and a door leading to outside so potty training has been going easy in my room.

Now she’s getting bigger and can’t be in her crate as much but everything I need to do is upstairs, shower, bathroom, food, coffee, my family. But what else is also up there is my two smaller dogs. They are a bit old but they are most definitely small

Okay so there they are. Yes adorable, I know. Anyways. They are not very good with the puppy. The one dressed as Elsa is good with her outside, but not upstairs. She’s stronger than him and he hates it and gets really aggressive.

Everytime I bring her upstairs it’s a disaster, whether she’s peeing from excitement or making my other dogs attack her bc she wants to play and they don’t. It’s a constant struggle. But I can’t keep her cooped up anymore. I need to keep going about my life and wish she could just come up with me and be a good girl. Her training is going good besides that. She’s learning super fast and doesn’t get into too much stuff. She’s starting to listen well but upstairs it’s such a trigger for her. Please help us both get on with our lives!!!!!

Update: thanks for the advice it has been so great so far! They’re really starting to learn each other’s boundaries and have been playing for longer periods, she’s even started jumping up on the couch to lay down when she’s tired of playing hahah I cant believe the solution was so simple, just let them figure it out! Thank you all so much again
