How did you tell your bf/husband you were pregnant?

How did you tell your SO you were pregnant, when you weren’t “actively” trying... not trying, not preventing... the whatever happens happens mindset?? 
I’m not pregnant but I’ve been thinking about if I DID end up pregnant, how would I tell him and WHEN should I tell him (# of weeks) 
Any advice??

We're in the same boat and I think I've decided I want him to be with me when I take the test so we can find out together.

With my first I left the test on the desk in our room for him to find when he got in from work. 
Second and third pregnancies I got up, took a test then took it back to bed to show him. 
Fourth I freaked out (had a 4 day period like bleed right before I got a bfp so was scared I'd miscarried and it was left over hormones) and OH was at work, so I phoned my best friend, then my Dr, then spoke to a midwife before showing my OH the test that evening when he came over. 
Fith one I did the same as second and third.
In amongst all that, we did take some tests together but it was too heartbreaking having to share the bfn's with him so it became easier to just take them on my own and only share the positive ones.

First time I called right after I took the test because I was freaking out. Second time, I waited a few days. He said something about kids and I said something like “well, now you’ll get to find out on your own” and handed him two tests. I was 4 weeks and 3 weeks.

With our daughter I call him. He was on his way to the veterinarian with our dog who was in labor and having complications delivering her puppies. 
Pregnancy #2  I give him and our daughter a card.  My daughter open her card before he did. So... she told him. 
Pregnancy #3 I was sitting at my desk and I texted him. “The last time you shot up the club you left a witness or should I say a vitcim🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️. ”  he respond was, “Ok 🤷🏾‍♂️ .

When we got pregnant with my son we were the “if it happens we will figure it out then” people. I had been sick for 2 months and didn’t think I was pregnant at all. I honestly thought I had the flu or something. When I did tell my then boyfriend now husband I just pulled him into the bathroom and showed him the two test I took. I was 8 or 9 weeks along.
