What to expect?

Hello mommas, so i just got a call confirming my c-section date and im over the moon but also nervous lol , I had a c-section with my first but it was due to my labor not progressing so it happened really fast and it was also 6 yrs ago so im clueless. Now with baby #2 its actually scheduled and i have to be there 3 hours early so i don't know what to expect.

Scheduled c-sections aren't bad at all in my opinion. You'll get there and they'll have you get in a gown in you're room and they'll have some papers for you to sign and then they'll get an IV in your arm. Your surgeon will stop in to see you quickly before hand a nurse will clean the area and they'll probably do a quick little ultrasound just so they know exactly how baby is laying. After the paperwork is all finished and you're all prepped you'll get moved into the OR and they'll get your spinal tap in while your partner gets a gown and face mask and stuff on so he can come in with you and after that the procedure just flies by.
